Shopping
Quality retail business has come to define much of
southern Oregon. Commercial retail space continues to
grow in this region that has enjoyed healthy economic
growth for the past decade.
A combination of geography and fertile business climate
have created in southern Oregon a hub of retail commerce
that draws thousands of customers every year from
hundreds of miles away. No sales tax contributes to this
boom. But given the fact that Medford is centrally
located between San Francisco and Portland, this smaller
city was destined to become the place where business
would come and settle.
As a regional shopping center, southern Oregon offers a
wider variety of merchandise than many other cities of
comparable size. The downtown business district is
joined by the Rogue Valley Mall, the Medford Center,
Harry and David’s Country Village, Black Bird, Black Oak
Village, Costco, Wal-Mart, two Fred Meyer stores, the
Shoppes at Exit 24, Target,
Poplar Square and much more for your shopping fun. |
