The nonprofit Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice has, since 1951, provided a wide range of home health services from offices in Salinas, Hollister, Monterey and King City, and is listed under "VNA" in the white pages of those phone books. Making more than 70,000 home visits each year, VNA provides skilled home nursing and hospice care, operates three Adult Day Centers, and staffs other community services.
