Volunteer through the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and receive credentials to attend the US Open. Volunteers will be trained by Andy Frain Services, the event management and security company for the 2010 US Open Golf Championship at Pebble Beach. Job Description: Volunteers will provide event management assistance, control entrances and access to designated areas and provide customer service for patrons. Shifts: June 14th thru June 20th US Open credentials will be provided to volunteers at the beginning of their 1st shift. If your first shift begins at 12:00pm on Friday, you will have access to the US Open from the beginning of your shift on Friday through Sunday Shift Times: 7 and 7.5 hours, minimum of 3 shifts required. Morning shifts begin at 5am and 6am. Afternoon Shifts begin at 12pm and 1pm. Requirements: Must be 18+ years of age Have good customer service skills Able to stand for a 7.5 hour shift Have good english communication skills Willing to submit to a criminal background check Be a US Citizen or resident alien Orientation: All volunteers must attend one orientation class to be eligible.
